“Preload” is a way to gradually adjust the shock of some sources (such as basic RST T-7) for your weight. Clockwise & counter weighs clockwise lighter you are, with the maximum when you feel the button click. Click means is fixed to the maximum or minimum.

just make the trek bike frame. components from other suppliers. fork will have it’s full name on it (google it), typically for RockShox and Fox brands. preload for your weight
