Any? bike is suitable for trials but it will be harder to learn it if you do not have a trials specific bike: I have a zoo! Pitbull, one of the best make of trials bikes and it is lovely, but unfortunately I am not very good at trials yet :)

Specialized P1 should be just? fine. You do not need a top of the line bike for every single specific type of riding in order to succeed, it’s a lot more about skill than the bike you can honestly do most things with just a Norco Sasquatch. (Hardtail freeride bike) It will not work quite as good as an STP, chase, or 250 for dirtjumping, but it will be decent. It would also to downhill and trials decently, just nothing perfectly.
